Vigie Lighthouse was built in 1914 on the headland north of Castries harbour and is one of the city’s quiet lookouts. Below it, Vigie Beach runs alongside the airport runway — plane-spotting at the water’s edge is a local pastime. Both are minutes from the cruise port and the Castries city centre.
