A short walk or kayak paddle north of Anse Chastanet brings you to Anse Mamin, a calm, shaded beach backed by an old sugar estate. Behind the sand are stone ruins, fruit trees and a network of mountain-bike trails. Bring your own refreshments or use the small beach bar in season.
