Walking down the main street in Gros Islet we accidentally walked into the most electric party on the island. DAX Bar & Grill: the bass is thumping, the place is packed, and every few steps someone is grilling fresh fish, chicken or pork at the street-side seating. Grab a cold drink, the DJ switches to soca, and suddenly everyone around you is dancing like they’ve known each other forever. This is the Gros Islet Friday Night Street Party, and Dax Bar is a must.
