The Edmund Forest Reserve protects the rainforest heart of Saint Lucia. The Enbas Saut trail descends steeply through elfin woodland and giant ferns to two waterfalls and pools on the Troumassee River — about 2.5 hours return and muddy after rain. Bird-watchers come for the Saint Lucia parrot, oriole and black finch.
A Forestry Department guide and permit are required; wear proper shoes and bring rain protection.
