Mamiku Gardens

Mamiku was once home to the Baron de Micoud, governor of Saint Lucia, and later a British military post. Today the estate is a peaceful garden of orchids, heliconias, medicinal plants and forest trails, with signboards telling the story of the site and views to the coast.

It is a good quiet stop on a round-the-island day or for anyone staying in the south-east. Allow an hour; there is a small café.
