Pulling into IGY Rodney Bay Marina felt like arriving somewhere special. As we cruised in, everything was calm and organized staff were already guiding us smoothly to our dock, and customs clearance was surprisingly quick and stress-free. No chaos, just efficiency.
What really stood out was the level of polish. Knowing this marina dates back to 1985 and has been upgraded since Island Global Yachting took over in 2007, you can feel that investment everywhere. It’s built for serious vessels, mega-yachts, cruisers, and sport fishers but still feels welcoming.
Within an hour, we had power connected, paperwork done, and were sitting down with cold drinks and a proper meal overlooking the water. That transition from docking to relaxing was seamless.
We needed a couple of minor fixes, and the marina handled it right on-site. Huge plus. Add in laundry, electronics repair, car rentals, and great food options, and it honestly feels like a one-stop hub for life at sea.
If you’re sailing through Saint Lucia, this is more than a stop it’s a reset point.
